The S300 receiver family consists of three generic models of increasing functionality along with targeted models for special applications that provide for all your content aggregation and distribution needs. Novra also provide rack mounted redundant configurations of its S300 receivers for enterprise customers
| S300D | Provides reception of MPEG Encapsulated IP data and passes IP data onto your LAN. |
| S300V | Performs all of the functions of the S300D, plus enables the reception and distribution of MPEG video programs onto your LAN. The S300V greatly simplifies the selection and assignment of your video programs to your IP network. |
| S300CA | Performs all of the functions of the S300D and the S300V, plus provides a conditional access Common Interface (DVB-CI) slot so that you can descramble content encrypted with most of the popular DVB conditional access systems. |
| S300E | The S300E is developed specifically for the reception EUMETSAT Weather Service next generation EUMETCast DVB-S2 weather service data. |
| S300N | The S300N is developed specifically for the reception US National Weather Service next generation NOAAPORT DVB-S2 weather service data. |
| MSR300 | The MSRS300 Rack mounted redundant configurations for S300 receivers |
S300D
The S300D is a low cost, compact and robust data receiver that receives a DVB-S or DVB-S2 satellite signal and passes the IP data onto your LAN. It is perfectly suited for consumer or small-medium enterprise use, delivering IP-based applications over satellite such as IPTV content delivery, weather imaging and data, distance education, digital signage, file distribution, and Internet over satellite to a single computer or to a network of computers. S300V
The S300V provides all the functions of the S300D described above, plus it provides special video handling capabilities that make it ideally suited to receive and distribute MPEG video programming over your LAN.
The S300V simplifies the configuration of your video programming so that you only need to select your desired program (from the Program List) and the IP address/port you wish to send this program to. The S300V does the rest. It also provides flexibility to include or exclude selected, Audio, Teletex and SI Table PID's. The S300V supports both Single Program Transport Stream(s) (SPTS) and Multi-Program Transport Stream (MPTS) deployments.
The S300V is ideally suited for use as a video aggregation point for your IPTV content where distribution over Lan is desired. Typically, it is deployed into head-end networks such as: hotel or cruise ship infotainment, IPTV service, or cable TV service. More can be learned by clicking below.
S300CA
The S300CA provides all the functions and features described above in the S300D and S300V receivers, plus it adds a DVB-Compliant conditional access Common Interface (DVB-CI) slot. The inclusion of the DVB-CI slot provides a cost-effective means to provide compatibility with the vast majority of DVB conditional access systems.
The S300CA is ideally suited as a video aggregation point for your IPTV network where distribution over LAN is desired and the content is scrambled with a DVB conditional access system. The S300CA is typically deployed along side the S300V into head-end networks such as: hotel or cruise ship infotainment, IPTV service, or cable TV service head ends. S300E For EUMETSAT
The S300E, which supports multistream VCM and Input Stream Identifier (ISI) filtering, is fully qualified to receive the EUMETSAT Weather Service next generation EUMETCast DVB-S2 weather service data. Low cost, small form factor and high reliability combine to make this the perfect receiver for your weather data needs.
S300N For NOAAPort
The S300N, which supports multistream VCM and Input Stream Identifier (ISI) filtering, is fully qualified to receive the US National Weather Service next generation NOAAPORT DVB-S2 weather service data. Low cost, small form factor and high reliability combine to make this the perfect receiver for your weather data needs.
If you already own an S300N, you can find S300N configuration GUI updates, access to our Novra Central Management and Control Software (CMCS) tool and NOAA-specific S300 configuration files on our Support Page.
MSR300
MSR300, configurations provide rack mounted configurations for one to three receivers for various power and networking options along with redundant configurations for 100% reliable operations
